The Goose Flats were perfect. I made oysters and caviar and oysters Rockefeller. I was really pleased. The Real Oyster Cult has a customer for life.

They were huge! Kinda scary, so I fried them up with seasoned cornmeal and buttermilk...
Made lovely fritters, they went so quick we only made two sandwiches. Lovely.

The photo doesn’t do justice. I often buy these Goose Flats. They’re gi-normous. Yes I’ll eat them raw and they’re a mouthful, but they’re match-made (grown) for frying, chargrilling, broiling, or steaming.

Loved these, got them with some Belon's, both were great. These Goos Flats are wonderful on the half shell and also as Rockefeller's. I love nice, big, fat oysters and neither disappointed!

I was introduced to raw oysters as a young scoundrel on the Gulf shore of Bayou La Batre. A measure of freshness will always be the quantity of oyster juice hidden inside the shell because THAT, my friend, is the Pearl - ready to combine with spinach in Rockefeller, an oyster stew or the best, simply to slurp. This parallels my grandmother's eternal wisdom, "We eat everything on a pig, but it's oink." Speak to me, ROC oysters, for your delicious mystery is beguiling.....

Arrived promptly, still well chilled. Excellent taste.

Not a Christmas party without these succulent, briny, plump, needless to say, delicious oysters.

As always, they were exceptional.

To begin, oysters arrive in a carefully maintained cooled box. Oysters are always fresh never had to discard a bad one. Then you shuck these beauties and you can smell the ocean, always succulent, briny and plump. Great job Rob and Syms!

Very large, tasty, mouth full of oyster flavor. Mild but distinct, could not stop eating them!

Absolutely THE best oysters. As a newcomer to this gastronomic delight I have been indulging in many varieties and these are outstanding. The size, profound brininess, and I love them with a dab of sour cream, a dollop of caviar, a hint of lime hot sauce and with or without a saltine cracker. Mmmm Mmmm good. We always throw a few on the grill and anyway I eat them it is a party in mouth. Thank you

Got the Goose Flats for the first time. Now THAT’S an oyster. As the photo shows, these babies are big and meaty. Complex taste with salty sweetness all through it. Might not be for those of you who prefer more dainty oysters, but I added nothing to them and could have eaten them all if I didn’t have to share. Truly remarkable. Note-a few were brittle at the hinge but opened easily if I slid them up the side of the hinge broke. Not hard to open at all but just be aware. Thanks to ROC for farming these.

Every order always perfect, on time fresh and delicious oysters and a great selection.

We like our oysters big and briny and as a first timer I ordered 20 Goose Flats to be delivered to a lakefront place we rented while on vacation in Michigan. The order was delivered promptly, notwithstanding the "stand in" address, and was extremely well packed. The oysters didn't disappoint: the Goose Flat were so good it may be difficult for any other variety to muscle into my next order. Hats off to Sims for being very patient and responsive in orienting me to the Cult.

Love these Goose Flats! Big is how I like them with a squeeze of lemon and fresh ground pepper and I’m in heaven! I think I will need another half dozen around 5:30 this afternoon!
