The King family has been working on the sea for six generations; the sea is in their blood. They began as lobstermen and then transitioned to oyster farming for a more sustainable product. In the cold, Canadian winters they cut through the snow and ice with chainsaws to harvest. The company is currently captained by Danny King (son of the founder) and is Canada’s largest oyster operation by acres farmed.
