Lewis Bay - Yarmouth, MA
Raised in the subtidal waters of Lewis Bay, Sweetheart Creeks have superior shells and deep cups. Overflowing meat, a buttery brine and a minerality uncommon in most Cape oysters give Sweetheart complexity: Deep and soulful, her vegetal sweetness lingers.
briny | deep cupped | blissful
Pairs Perfectly with:
- Holiday Parties
- Sparkling Rosé
Edmund Janiunas's Sweet Sweetheart Oyster Company,
I received my start in Shellfish Aquaculture by taking care of the shellfish nursery with the Department of Natural Resources for their recreational shellfish program. We were able to re-institute a recreational oyster season for the first time in 35 years! Being an oyster grower is a true privilege, which I love immensely. There are many and constant challenges, but when I look at the final product there is a certain inexplicable proudness that is our true reward. A sustainable delicious food product which helps keep our waters pristine...What's not to love!"
