Souris River, PEI, Canada

Meet GOWANBRAEHe's blonde (v. handsome, a bit cocky), he sports a caramel drizzled, tear-dropped shell. Shades of yellow and khaki in his kit, he color coordinates perfectly with autumn eats. And his temperament strikes an even-keeled balance of brine forward and mineral undertones. Bonus: he'll keep sweet-talking you long after the last bite.

briny | mineral undertones |  sweet talker

3 - 3.25"

Pairs Perfectly with:

  1. Après le dîner
  2. Beaucoup de vin
  3. Getting your kicks
  4. Upstreet Commons Pilsner

East Cape Oyster Co., Gifted Growers

East Cape Oyster Co. was founded by Phil Enserink in 2015. The oyster leases were purchased from Tommy Joe MacDonald who has farmed in Souris River since the early 1980's. Tommy is now 75 years old and still actively involved in the company on a day to day basis. Although East Cape Oyster Co. is a relatively new farm, the leases in Souris have a rich history of growing some of the highest quality oysters on the island.

The Gritty Details:
